New offering allows for cost effective discovery and management of historic data stored in backup tapes

IIS has partnered with Index Engines to provide solutions which help enterprises access data stored on local area networks and backup tapes. Index Engines’ patent-pending software assists enterprises in the search and extraction of data without requiring the original backup software.

Over time, enterprises accumulate significant volumes of information on networks and backup tapes containing the historical records of their business.
