Job Description

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Manage customer projects to meet milestones, budgets and completion dates on time

     > Complex RightFax, Snapsflow and Email Archiving projects

     > Other outsourced service projects

     > New products adopted by Instant InfoSystems

• Provide and lead project management services for IIS

• Manage project issues and risks

• Provide oral/written status reports to project owners, sponsors, and other project stakeholders.

• Work with Professional Services Manager to coordinate personnel resource availability

• Gather business requirements for projects

• Adhere to a standard project methodology for IIS

• Continue to develop delivery process for IIS Professional Services

• Communicate and train best practices with others at IIS

• Develop reports and other tools to increase the capabilities of Professional Services

• Assist in creation of SOW and/or Project Proposal’s as seen needed by Sales Engineer or Sales Team

• Deliver customer defined documents as defined by SOW/Proposal by leveraging existing IIS Document Templates

• Define, schedule and lead project kickoff meeting with assistance from Field Services Team

• Create Project Sign-off document and work with customer to properly close and sign-off on all projects

• Other duties as assigned by manager

 

Required Skills and Abilities

 

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees, as well as external clients, or customers.

• Ability to plan projects and meet deadlines

• Strong writing skills for document creation and revisions

• Ability to coordinate, plan and take lead on all meetings, internal or customer facing

• Understanding of software architectural design and implementation as well as knowledge of Internet technologies.

• Strong leadership, communication (both verbal and written), and customer service skills.

• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.

• Self driven, self motivated individual.

• In depth understanding of software and hardware products.

• College Degree
