Service provides real time monitoring, notification and resolution of incidents

Los Angeles, CA – November 25, 2008 - Instant InfoSystems (IIS), a leading provider of Enterprise Message Management solutions, including email archiving and enterprise fax management, today introduced Instant Insight™, Managed Services for RightFax. Instant Insight™ monitors critical components of the RightFax environment including database server, application server, work server and DocTransport module (previously board server). It provides proactive knowledge of a problem that may be occurring, in many cases before the end users are impacted. The result is minimal downtime and resolution of the incident with little or no human intervention.

Instant Insight™ can inform, respond and resolve the incident based on pre-defined rules. Each RightFax server managed by Instant Insight is configured to monitor critical services, logs and status. When a service fails, performs illegal functions, or produces any other problem for the server, IIS can notify customers of the problem in real time. Rules can be established to define scenarios when IIS could reach out to the customer and situations when issues can be resolved without customer involvement.

Customized reports can be configured to monitor critical performance indicators specific to their environment. While the RightFax server provides a great depth of reporting capabilities for server and bandwidth usage, it does not provide reporting for errors encountered on the server and alerting tools. With Instant Insight, a broad range of reports can be generated, showing frequency of errors and downtime, allowing for more in-depth reports. Reports can be generated for system resource and uptime details, as well as identifying where future expansion may be needed.
