Archive to Archive Migration
Organizations that have invested in archive technology, and need to migrate to a new solution as a result of merger, acquisition, company restructuring, or an upgrade to a newer, more capable archiving technology, can easily migrate to their new email archive solution of choice using TransVault technology. TransVault securely transports legacy archive data into the new environment, ensuring it remains seamlessly accessible – both for end users and for compliance and e-discovery purposes.
Learn how the TransVault™Archive Migrator can help organizations that need to move archived data between archive locations or into different archive services.
Phase B Transmission Errors – What they mean and how to troubleshoot
During the transmission process of faxing documents, different transmission errors can result under unsatisfactory conditions. One common transmission error is a Phase B error, which can be the result of many different problems. In troubleshooting, the first step is to isolate if this is related to inbound faxing, outbound faxing, or both. If this is outbound to one specific number, this is a problem on the destination’s equipment. If the problem occurs on inbound and/or outbound faxing using multiple numbers, confirm all Fax Board settings to match the settings that your Telco is providing. Also, confirm that shielded cable, not CAT5 cable, is being used to ensure line noise is not causing problems. Placing a call to a fax number on your RightFax server from a standard telephone can assist in determining line noise. If there is heavy static over the fax tone, this is an indicator of line noise. After confirmation of shielded cable being used, place a call to your Telco to have your fax lines inspected.
Captaris RightFax is now Avaya Compliant
RightFax is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Communications Manager. For testing, faxes were transmitted exercising the T.38 Fax over IP operation between RightFax and Avaya Communications Manager. Enterprises that have invested in Avaya IP infrastructure can now leverage the same for RightFax Fax over IP solution.
