Telco Settings and RightFax 9.3
July 1st, 2008With the September 1, 2008, deadline for RightFax 8.7 End-Of-Life coming closer, most of you are planning your upgrade to RightFax 9.3. At this stage, it is very important to document the Telephony settings from your existing server.
- For all Brooktrout TR1034 boards and most TR114 boards, the RightFax specific Telephony settings are moved from the RightFax BoardServer Module to the RightFax DocTransport module and use Brooktrout’s Configuration tool. To document your existing settings, open your RightFax BoardServer module.
- For Analog boards, document all settings in the “Global Board Settings” and your channels.
- For T1 boards, document the same settings for Analog boards, along with all settings in the Digital Configuration Wizard.
With these documented, it will be easy to confirm and implement your Telephony Properties into the Brooktrout Configuration Tool.
